Wipro’s new CEO to draw up to ₹38-crore annual pay package

Wipro’s newly appointed CEO, Thierry Delaporte, will receive up to 4.45 million euros (about Rs 37.9 crore) per annum pay package.

As per the notice posted for Wipro’s 74th annual general meeting (AGM), which will be held on July 13 through video-conferencing, Delaporte will join Wipro Technologies as CEO for five years with effect from July 6, 2020.

Thierry Delaporte remuneration Details:

  • Basic Pay: 1.07-1.4 million euros per annum 
  • Target Variable Pay: 1.7-2.5 million euros per annum
  • Expatriate Allowance:428,000-550,000 euros per annum
  • Expatriate Allowance is provided for assignments outside France and India. One time Sign-on bonus of USD 3 million also will be awarded. He will also receive restricted stock units and other benefits

Wipro’s former CEO, Neemuchwala, had drawn a compensation of Rs 32.2 crore in 2020. He had announced his resignation in January.
