Leading Information Technology solutions consulting and business process services company Wipro collaborates with German-based renowned automotive company Aachen to develop software-defined vehicles.
In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges, Wipro said that as part of its strategic Collaboration with Aachen, they have jointly set up an innovation lab to focus on developing automotive use cases, engineer scalable software, and build system features.
Thomas Muller, who works as CTO – Engineering and R & R&D Services at Wipro, said they were excited to collaborate with FEV, one of the most respected names in the automotive industry, to join hands to develop innovative solutions Software-Defined Vehicles. Thomas also mentioned that it was a significant step towards strengthening its services in the automotive and mobility-related markets globally.
As part of this Collaboration, Wipro and Aachen will devote more of their attention and time towards research, product development, solutions, and roadmaps that will enable go-to-market for global customers.
Wipro is on a collaboration spree as the IT giant has recently expanded its partnership with Levi Strauss to support digital commerce. During Collaboration with Aachen, Wipro shares were trading marginally lower at ₹ 555.70 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
