Wipro becomes the first IT company to give its campus for Covid-19 hospital

IT Giant Wipro has repurposed one of its campuses in the Hinjewadi, Pune India, into a 504-bed intermediary care Covid-19 hospital.

This hospital is the first public-private project in the country for Covid-19, where an IT Company has given its campus.

Hospital has come up on 1.8 lakh sq ft area of the company’s campus.

Hospital has 18 ventilators, ICU, and other medical facilities. Wipro will also provide two ambulances.

During the video conferencing inauguration ceremony, Maharastra Chief Minister said, Wipro works with speed and quality in social work as in the IT sector
