Virtusa Corporation announced the appointment of a new leadership team, including a new industry vertical’s chief executive officer, a new chief financial officer, and a chief technology officer.
The company has appointed Samir Dhir as CEO of Global Markets and Industries, where he will lead profit and loss management for all industry groups and markets worldwide. However, he has been with the company for 11 years, and before this role, he led the overall P&L management for the United States.
Virtusa has appointed Amit Bajoria as the new CFO. He has two decades of experience at Wipro as Senior Vice President, Finance and Global Controller. He was responsible for financial reporting, deal structuring, Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting, financial controls, and Mergers and acquisitions.
Ram Meenakshisundaram has been selected as Virtusa’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a new role to lead service lines, including technology strategy and solutions, building digital competencies and capabilities, and working with Virtusa’s alliance group to enable partner solutions.
Meenakshisundaram has over three decades of industry experience, out of which 16 years in Cognizant in leadership roles, recently as Head of Delivery, Growth Markets, where he was responsible for leading a 4 billion USD business with a geographically distributed team. In addition, he served as a part of the executive leadership team at Cognizant.
