This partnership will look for opportunities to bring diversity and sustainability to sports. It will also explore how technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and 5G can impact the world of sports.
It will also research how sports are going to be played in the future, and how the general public will look at sports.
According to the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Growth of Tech Mahindra, Jagdish Mitra, both the participating institutions will work on finding how technology can help in tapping the full potential of sports, in terms of players performance, and viewers experience.
