Tata Consultancy Services TCS marked the completion of 20 years of partnership with Proximus, Belgium’s largest mobile telecom company, with a new focus on helping the latter realize its mission to build a modern gigabit network in the country. This partnership will enable a resilient, connected digital society and power sustainable digital transformation in Belgium and globally.
In this partnership, TCS helps Proximus achieve its vision of becoming a benchmark operator in Europe by 2030 with #its Inspire 2022, a 4-pillared strategy to build the best gigabit network in Belgium, to operate as a digitally native company and grow profitably.
TCS has been giving value across many dimensions such as enterprise agile, transformation, network rollout, data transformation, cloud adoption, and digital experience.
Building on this long-term collaboration, TCS will now enable Proximus to monetize its open gigabit network.
The combination of Proximus’ deep expertise in next-gen telecom networks and TCS’s broad knowledge in cross-industry business transformation will bring a rich set of experiences to life, helping to shape Belgium’s digital future.
Kamal Bhadada, Business Group Head, Communications, Media and Information Services of TCS, said, “We have implemented new processes, tools, and technology for Proximus, enhancing agility, improving operational stability and performance. We look ahead to partnering with them in building the next-generation network using fibre and 5G that will serve as the digital foundation for Belgium.”
Guillaume Boutin, the Proximus Group CEO, said, “TCS is not only about building new tools or new services. They play a significant role in helping bridge the necessary IT and business transformations that Proximus is going through. They have played a notable role in helping IT talk to the business.”
