Digital workflow company ServiceNow stated that it would be obtaining Intellibot, Hyderabad-based robotic process automation (RPA) company.
Intellibot will assist ServiceNow customers in automating repetitive tasks and improving automation. ServiceNow will develop Intellibot’s capacities natively into its platform to help its customers integrate with modern and legacy systems.
Josh Kahn, SVP of Creator Workflow Products at ServiceNow, stated, “Our customers belong to nearly 80% of the Fortune 500, and the large majority are striving to drive automation across a mix of legacy and modern applications. With Intellibot, we will spread ServiceNow’s ability to help customers connect systems so they can effortlessly automate workflows and drive productivity.”
India is one of the fastest-growing market for the company. Hence ServiceNow plans to increase its staff in the country to double the amount within the next three years. The company plans to build two new data centre facilities in India by April 2022. These new data hubs will meet local data residency requirements.
“We are pleased to join forces with ServiceNow as it continues to invest in powerful and end-to-end automation capacities to make the world of work better for people,” said Srikanth Vemulapalli, co-founder and CTO of Intellibot. “Our RPA, coupled with ServiceNow workflows, will help businesses to connect disparate systems better to accelerate innovation and excel in a new world of work.”
Intellibot was established in 2015 by CEO Raghu “Alekh” Barli, CTO Srikanth Vemulapalli, and COO Kushang Moorthy. The company expects to complete the purchase of Intellibot in Q2 2021. The financial terms of the deal were not revealed.
