Digital Healthcare firm, PharmEasy announced to hire over 200 engineers for its new development centers in Hyderabad, NCR, and Pune. Most tech-led companies are accelerating their strategies to meet consumer demands efficiently due to the pandemic, which has also caused PharmEasy to launch new development centers.
Abhinav Yajurvedi, CTO, PharmEasy, said, “The new development centers will serve as a hub for driving development and innovation. PharmEasy will give opportunities for interested tech professionals across product and engineering, in different locations across the country, with a flexible work model.”
The new PharmEasy development centers will begin operations with a team of experienced leaders. They will work in hybrid and flexible work environments for hiring tech talent. Currently, it has a total headcount of more than 6100 employees.
Hardik Dedhia, Co-Founder at PharmEasy, said, “The team is focused on building the healthcare ecosystem for a modern and digital-first India. Our mission is to simplify healthcare and impact lives, and we are looking for talented and motivated people to join the team.”
He further added that building the healthcare ecosystem will be a once-in-a-generation opportunity to benefit millions of Indians in improving their health quotient. Managing the scale, complexity, and privacy while designing safe, secure, and user-friendly systems would be a common challenge for PharmEasy’s teams to tackle every day.
PharmEasy aims to solve outpatient healthcare challenges, but filling the gap in the healthcare industry with the execution of their hiring initiatives will be quite challenging for it.
The firm bought diagnostic chain Thyrocare in June. In addition, it aims to raise a billion dollars at a valuation of 9 billion USD in its initial public offering (IPO) this year.
