According to a survey conducted by professional networking site LinkedIn, IT services companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, and Wipro are among the top workplaces in India in 2021.
With the rapid acceleration of digitization being pursued by many industries, IT firms have issued an optimistic revenue guidance outlook for FY22, with double-digit growth and operating margin expansion anticipated. The top IT service providers have also indicated that hiring will continue to be strong this fiscal year, with skill-based talent in high demand, especially as the companies expand their digital businesses.
According to the LinkedIn report, the rise of the remote workplace model has made tech services firms a favourite among workers. Many of these firms indicate that they are considering a permanent hybrid model in the future.
TCS, India’s largest IT services firm, topped the list of 25 companies for professionals, adapting quickly and decisively to the pandemic. By 2025, 75% of its employees will be able to operate remotely, thanks to the software exporter’s use of technology to enable the “never seen before fungibility of talent.”
TCS reported two pay increases for its employees in six months and rolled out as many as 40000 campus deals in a year where employers are cutting costs vigorously. According to the report, attrition at the organization reached an all-time low of 7.2 per cent in the March portion.
Cognizant, a US tech company that has seen a rise in attrition in recent quarters, was ranked second on the list, especially after giving bonuses and promoting nearly 25,000 workers last month. This fiscal year, the organization plans to hire more than 10,000 new employees and train them in digital skills.
According to the report, Accenture was the third-best workplace after announcing gender-neutral policies and achieving a pre-COVID revenue rate.
Notably, Larsen&Toubro ranked fourth on the list, owing to its no-layoff policy following the pandemic and a doubling of health benefits for existing workers. Infosys was classified as the fifth-best organization to work for, owing to its use of the digital adoption surge and its announcement of multiple employee engagement programmes and a pledge to recruit more than 25,000 freshers.
Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Wipro, Amazon, HDFC Bank, Capgemini, Reliance Industries, IBM, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bharat Electronics Limited, HCL tech, Aditya Birla Group, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, JP Morgan Chase Co, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Siemens, Axis Bank, Flipkart, and NTPC Limited were among the other top companies featured in Linkedin’s survey.
