On Tuesday, global IT giant, HCL Technologies announced the launch of its two new solutions to enhance its capabilities to offer HCL’s Cloud Smart services. The first product is the Cloud Native solution, named HCL SoFy, and the second one is the Cloud-Native-as-a-service solution, HCL Now.
In the past few years, HCL has made significant investments to follow its long-term Cloud-Native commitment, product portfolio modernization strategy. Along with the release of 22 major products, the company has launched a total of 390 new products, 10 new product modules, and more than 900 enhancements.
The technologies launched by the IT giant provide flexibility to the customer for adopting cloud as per their business need.
With the aid of HCL Sofy, clients will be able to deploy enterprise software on their preferred public or private Cloud in minutes, without vendor lock-in, suitable for the multi-cloud strategy. It is possible to scale this solution as per the need of the enterprise.
With Sofy clients will enjoy easy access to 2,000+ REST API endpoints, 50 product components, and Cloud-Native demos.
HCL Now is capable of offering enterprise-grade services with unlimited scalability and flexibility. It also claims to reduce risk and cost.
According to the Sr. Corporate Vice President & Head of HCL software, Darren Oberst, the foundations of their architectural strategy, and API firsts, allow their clients to innovate in automation, digital solutions, commerce and marketing, security, and DevOps area.
Along with that clients have the flexibility to control their data, and built customized solutions for them, without worrying about lock-in.
Both the solutions rely upon Kubernetes for their capabilities. It is easy to implement a multi-cloud strategy, with the flexibility to easily migrate between them. It reduces risk and allows enables agility in a business.
