Leading IT company Cognizant Technology Solutions starts its Ninja Hiring process. The company announced that they intend to hire 30,000 freshers and one lakh freshers in India in 2021. Cognizant also plans to make 45,000 offers to freshers in India for the year 2022.
Most of the job positions offered requires fulfilling the responsibility of providing expert solutions on hardware and software installations, infrastructure, applications, and networking queries. The IT giant has also stepped up its hiring efforts in the country, and it is inviting online applications for numerous positions, including that of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
The requirement for this position involves any 3-year graduates- 2019, 2020 & 2021 batch, 50 % in X, XII, Diploma, UG and a Maximum Gap 2 Years. The candidates who complete the hiring process and get selected will be responsible for providing IT Infrastructure support covering cloud and on-premise products such as Windows, Azure, MS Office, and other related business applications to the global clients and customers.
The hired candidates are also expected to collaborate with 5.6+ Million Users globally to ensure smooth functioning of the business. One of the major responsibilities of a Cognizant Graduate Engineer Trainee including work in partnership with various business domains such as Communications, Media, Retail, Banking, Finance, Insurance, Technology Consulting, Healthcare, Life Sciences, etc.
Cognizant also notes that in order to be considered for the hiring process, the candidates are expected to submit their applications before 15 September 2021 11:00 pm. Brian Humpries, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cognizant, stated that the company’s hiring plans come in the backdrop of an improved business environment.
In the year 2020, Cognizant hired nearly 23,000 Fresh graduates. At present, the leading outsourcing, business consulting, and information technology firm has a total headcount that exceeds 301,200.
