Capgemini Group reports revenue of 4271 million euros, records 24.2 per cent growth, Mastek net profit jumps to 7.7 per cent at Rs.75.7 crores.

Capgemini group reported revenues of 4271 million euros for Q1 of 2021, up 24.2 percent YoY at constant exchange rates. Moreover, the momentum continued to improve with an annual growth rate higher YoY. 

With a return to growth at constant scope and exchange rates in the first quarter, at 1.7 percent up, Group revenues are already up on pre-crisis levels.

Capgemini Group revenues rose by 20.4 percent at current exchange rates and 24.2 percent at fixed exchange rates, with the consolidation of Altran Technologies (“Altran”) effective April 1, 2020. This momentum also reflects the double-digit growth achieved in Digital and Cloud activities.

North America (28 percent of Group revenues) and the Rest of Europe (31 percent of Group revenues) regions returned to growth on an organic basis. In addition, growth accelerated in Asia-Pacific and Latin America (7 percent of Group revenues) and the United Kingdom and Ireland (12 percent of Group revenues), climbing to double figures in the latter region. Finally, France (22 percent of Group revenues) continued its gradual recovery, although it was still down in Q1 2020.

On the Q1 ended March 31, 2021, the company had a total headcount of 274500, up 25.3 percent up YoY. For the current fiscal year, the company has plans to maintain a free cash flow of 1300 million Euros.

Mastek Annual reports

Mastek, in its Annual Results, reported a rise in net profit of 7.7 percent to Rs. 75.7 crore on a 9.1 percent increase in revenue from operations to Rs. 483.2 crore in Q4 21.

  • Operating EBITDA margin was at 21.9 percent 
  • The company added 45 new clients in Q4 of 2021
  • The 12-month order backlog was Rs 1,130.40 crore, reflecting a growth of 19.4 percent 
  • 121.2 percent jump in net profit to Rs 251.7 crore for the year ended March 31, 2021, from Rs 113.8 crore in the year ended March 31, 2020.
  • Revenue from operations increased by 60.7 percent to Rs 1,721.9 crore in FY21
