According to a recent announcement from Atos, the French Multinational information technology, and consulting services provider is going to offer 15,000 job opportunities in India this year. The company has invited freshers and experienced people to apply for various vacancies in the firm.
In India, Atos has a workforce of over 40,000 employees. While its global workforce accounts for around 1.0 lakh employees.
Every year, Atos made a combined investment of almost 400 million euros in India on employees. Along with that, the company is also working on the federal government’s Nationwide Supercomputing Mission.
According to the advertisement page of Atos, they inspire candidates, and their employees to make the right choices, and to contribute to shaping the future of the information space.
The company claims that they value, and reward skills, experience, and performance. Along with that, it also made it clear that compensation and benefits might vary across geographies to ensure alignment with local legislation and preferences. Currently, Atos operates in 73 countries of the world.
It says that, along with base salary, employees can also get benefits like bonus / performance-related pay, meal vouchers, pension schemes, car allowance, and insurances. Other flexibilities can also be availed by employees based on the country they are working in.
According to Atos, there are learning opportunities open for every employee in the organization. Employees can enhance their existing skills, or even can develop new skills through a variety of online and offline courses.
Atos also runs an Internal First Programme, under which they focus on filling open vacancies with existing employees in the company as much as possible. This program was launched in 2015.
In 2017, the company managed to fill 55% of vacancies with internal candidates. This number grew to 80% in 2018, and 81% in 2019.
The company said that it helps employees interested in changing positions through promotions of job vacancies on internal social collaboration platforms, internal careers fairs, and job cafés.
