According to a recent announcement, Accenture acquires a French consulting firm called Exton Consulting on undisclosed transaction terms. This film is known to serve financial services clients across Europe with strategy and business management offerings.
Several major banks and insurance companies across Europe rely upon Exton Consulting for managing their growth and transformation projects. The Accenture acquired consulting firm was found in 2006, with its headquarter in Paris, France.
After the acquisition, Exton will get access to a wide range of financial services companies, leveraging the global presence of IT major, Accenture. Its 150 skilled professionals will work with the Financial Services industry group of Accenture to help clients with strategy, technology, design, and operation.
According to the market unit lead for Accenture France & Benelux, Olivier Girard, Accenture wants to enhance its skills and capabilities to support growth in emerging areas, and the acquisition of Exton Consulting is just a part of this strategy.
Girard added that the financial services industry has experienced several transformations recently due to regulatory challenges, client experience reinvention needs, digital transformation, economic and geopolitical uncertainties, and new operating models.
The IT major is expecting to promote innovation in the end-to-end solutions for financial services clients, and a strong presence in France with this acquisition deal.
According to Accenture France & Benelux’s Strategy & Consulting Lead, Cedric Vatier, financial services clients need effective solutions to solve the major global challenges faced by them in the present world, and to provide them a competitive advantage.
Vatier added that Accenture acquires Exton Consulting to help clients accept the changes and transform them to build a sustainable future. To do so, it will combine its talented workforce with emerging technologies including, data, cloud, and artificial intelligence.
The co-founder of Exton Consulting, Philippe Derambure said that they have been supporting the transformation of Financial Services sector companies for 15 years. Both existing and future clients of the consulting firm will be benefited from its expertise in innovation, technology, and data skills.
